This increase is mainly due to increased grid tariffs, higher wholesale prices and increased demand for energy during the winter months.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Electricity prices:<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wallonia:<\/strong> In Wallonia, variable electricity prices rose by 2.87% (or \u20ac77.64 per year).<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Flanders:<\/strong> On average, the price of the cheapest variable electricity contracts increased by 3.60% (or \u20ac79.20 per year).<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Brussels:<\/strong> In Brussels, variable electricity prices increased by 2.77% (or \u20ac79.08 per year).<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Below is the link to the monthly energy surcharge, as calculated by BE-Cold.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In februari 2025 zijn de energieprijzen in Belgi\u00eb opnieuw gestegen ten opzichte van januari 2025.
