The European Commission has presented a policy plan to simplify regulations around sustainability, with a special focus on SMEs. Small cooling and freezing companies experience a lot of administrative burden due to reports requested from larger companies. The Commission wants to ease these burdens by streamlining legislation. BE-Cold is already developing a template in 2024 to simplify and standardize reporting for SMEs in the refrigeration and freezer sector.
