With the help of the company Dematic, Sivafrost automated its new high-rise cold store in Dendermonde, increasing its storage capacity to 30,000 pallets.In the new more than 40 meters high cold store, four automatic cranes move all pallets of frozen products. Those pallets are supplied by conveyors and elevators from the production area and shipping area and picked again for delivery of customer orders. Six unloading and loading docks have also been realized diagonally under the new building.
